I'm Andrew Hoffritz, and Forged In Security is where I document that process: breaking down the latest cybersecurity news, sharing honest reviews of the certifications I've earned (and the ones I'm still chasing), and helping others navigate the same path I'm on.

I started this site because I wanted a place to think out loud about what I was learning — and not enough straight talk about what it actually takes to build real skills in this field.
